What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses a combination of therapeutic styles. It combines techniques used in talking therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Hypnosis.
It’s solution focused nature means that clients are able to solve the problems of the past without having to constantly re-visit it. By concentrating on how you would like things to be instead of how you don’t want them to be, you have the power and the confidence to create your future.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy helps you to accept that the past is gone, learn that the present is all that matters and enjoy the possibilities that the future holds.
What do Sessions Involve?
A course of treatment begins with a free initial consultation where we can meet and discuss your reasons for seeking out the therapy. I will give a detailed explanation of how the brain works and how our issues are created.
Future sessions include around 30 minutes of talking therapy followed by around 30 minutes of hypnosis/relaxation.
